I’m a well established beauty and lifestyle writer, who has worked on many fabulous women’s magazines including the following:
- The Sunday Times Style Magazine
- Woman’s Own
- Financial Times How to Spend It
- Prima Baby
- Sunday Mirror Magazine
- Morrison’s Magazine
- News of the World Sunday Magazine
I am happy to consider commissions from magazines, newspapers and lifestyle websites, as well as brands.
Over the last year, my extensive experience in the beauty and wellbeing industry has been fundamental in taking my writing career in a new and exciting direction and I am now delighted to be working on some wonderful social media projects with some lovely clients. I have also acted as a consultant to wellbeing brands who want to keep their finger on the pulse of the current trends in the lifestyles of women over forty and was delighted to recently be shortlisted for Most Innovative Content in the Thirty Plus Awards.
My stellar reputation in the writing industry and visibility in the blogging community has also caught the eye of brands who are looking for an experienced and trusted blogger and writer who can successfully reach out to consumers in an authentic and friendly manner on campaigns and sponsored posts.
I also work as a writer and consultant on special projects for a highly regarded public relations company, specialising in beauty and aesthetics.

PRODUCT AND TREATMENT REVIEWS
Any beauty, wellbeing and lifestyle related PR pitches are welcome and I am happy to review products or work on sponsored posts if I feel they are relevant to Glowology. However, while it is a lovely perk to receive free things and be invited to launches and I always appreciate this, I may decide not to feature your product. This could be for a number of reasons such as, it doesn’t suit my readership, it’s something I wouldn’t buy myself or if my views are negative, I would rather not post it. All of my thoughts and opinions are completely genuine, whether I have been sent a product or I have bought it myself. I always mention in my post whether a product has been gifted to me or if I’ve been invited to try a complimentary treatment. I will always highlight whether a post has been sponsored and if it is, again, all opinions will be 100% my own.
As I am a journalist by trade and because I love writing my blog, all posts are written by me and never a third party.
Since February 2018 I have started to use affiliate linking to gain a small amount of commission (and I really do mean small – like, pennies) when linking to some of the products I mention – and these are always products I love and which I would be writing about anyway.
