The Perfect Time to Love Yourself!

Happy Sunday! Hope everyone is feeling ok and weathering the ups and downs of quarantine life. This pic was me yesterday having said I was going upstairs to clean the bathroom 😏 I found a red lippie (I never wear red lippie!) and decided to have an impromptu photo shoot with my leopard print cushion – well, it was more fun that cleaning the bathroom…

My feature is talking about being happy with yourself and not beating yourself up about your body or your life in general – there’s only one you and the world needs that special sauce that only you bring! And although I’m delighted with the lovely comments I got on my last Instagram post (rocking the zebra striped workout gear from Primark) I want you to know that yes, I have shaped up and lost weight…I’m in better shape now that in my 30s. But that’s not by obsessing over it, it’s by finally listening to what makes my body happy and healthy and letting go of the desperate restrictive ideas on fitness and diet that plagued me in my younger years and which just made me put on weight and feel bad about myself.💪🏽
