Face and Body Contouring With Endospheres Therapy

The morning after the Endospheres Therapy with my plumped up glow!

Non-surgical face and body treatments are a big buzz in the aesthetics world and with likes of bootylicious babes on Love Island, Instagram and in fact – the flaunting of peachy butts everywhere – it’s no surprise there’s been an upsurge in popularity for no-knife butt lifts!  Now, I’m not one to condone we follow trends and be unhappy with what Mother Nature has given us, but if any of us fancy a little lift here and there – a smoothing of cellulite and a firmer, sleeker silhouette to enhance your body confidence, then I’m not going to stand in anyone’s way. Alongside healthy eating and a good exercise programme it can help maximise results. And if you fancy to put some vavoom into a droopy visage, soften wrinkles and hoik up those eyebrows, then why not? It’s our prerogative ladies and gents…

Endospheres is the latest in aesthetic technology and I was originally sceptical, like I am with many treatments nowadays because having been around in the industry for many years, I wonder whether these aesthetic device companies are simply bringing out new treatments that are just doing the same job as their previous versions – a bit like Apple iPhones – but with an added twinkle? I mean, as far as I’m concerned, once you’ve upgraded your phone for another zillion pounds and spent forever trying to relocate your photos and contacts (or is that just me?), you begin to wonder whether the upgrade was actually worth it.

And exactly how far can these new treatments go in delivering results compared to surgical options such as tummy tucks, injectables and liposuction? Price for price a course of some of the more expensive non-surgical treatments can add up to just as much as the surgical options. On the other hand, at least with non-surgical, there is rarely any downtime and the risk or complications and side effects are extremely minimal. Plus, if you do have stellar, results driven non-surgical treatments, you may find that you are happy with the results and don’t need – or want – to consider anything surgical in years to come.

So, what about Endospheres? As luck would have it, my work with the brilliant team at Aurora Spa Chiswick means that I can get to try out their latest beauty finds and, as an experienced women’s lifestyle writer –  give them my honest feedback.

I decided to try the face firming treatment that Endospheres call The Eva Facial, rather than the body – though my other cheeks may be next!

body contouring

not my bum – unfortunately

After reading the press information from Endospheres I was really impressed with the verdict from many of the UK’s top journalists who all really rated the body and face firming results – much more so than many of the other all singing and dancing firming and lifting treatments available on the market. So, I was really excited to have a go!

What is Endospheres Therapy?

In a nutshell: Endospheres Therapy is a non-invasive mechanical treatment that uses the therapeutic benefits of compressive microvibration. The microvibrations transmit through low frequency the vibrations to create a pulsed rhythmic action to the tissue. It is delivered using a cylinder of rotating silicone spheres – a larger cylinder for body contours and smaller one for face – with a variable speed which determines the frequency (variable from 40 to 355hz) With rotation and pressure to create a pumping action.

What are the benefits of Endospheres Therapy?

  • Lymphatic drainage – it eliminates excess liquid that can be stagnant in the cells which can cause puffiness and cellulite.
  • Body Contouring and toning – the compression and vibration on muscle helps to stimulate the area to reshape, firm and tone.
  • Vascular action – a unique honeycomb arrangement of the rotating spheres induces pressure and lift, improving circulation.
  • Pain relief  – the compressive microvibration works on mechanoreceptors and on inflammation and has shown to decrease or eliminate painful symptoms of swollen legs.

What results can you achieve with Endospheres Therapy?

  • Tightened and toned muscle and tissue
  • Eliminated or greatly improved cellulite
  • Improved lymphatic draining and puffiness
  • Reduced circumference of waist and thighs
  • Improved contours of the silhouette

The above relates to the body, but it is all true for Endospheres Eva Facial, and using the same modality, it also smooths and plumps wrinkles, gently exfoliates the top layers of the skin, lifts the cheeks, eyes and chin and aids in the absorption of subsequent products.

My Treatment Experience

I must say, I was really pleased that it wasn’t painful at all. It was warm and comfortable and I could tell my face was getting a brilliant massage – it was super stimulating and my revved up circulation was perking up my tired energy physically and mentally! Using the smaller of two cylinders to work on my face (the larger one is for the bigger muscles on the body) the only way to describe how the device felt was that it was as if you were drumming your fingertips exceedingly quickly across your face. Obviously, you can’t drum your fingertips as fast as the device rotates, but that’s just to give you an idea of the sensation and sequence of pressure I felt. At one point, when therapist Lila was working on my cheeks, I literally felt the side of my face lift up as if I was smiling and after just a half hour Endospheres Eva Facial, followed by a luxuriously relaxing face mask, I walked out of the treatment room feeling and looking at least 3-5 years younger.

Look at the skin – not the hair! I’d just had an eyebrow wax and head massage so this isn’t my most groomed picture!

Results Verdict

Thanks to the lifting action on the upper eyelids, I looked so much more awake. Wrinkles had softened on my forehead and the stubborn little angry 11’s (the lines in between my eyes, on the bridge of my nose) disappeared completely. My cheeks felt much plumper and my cheekbone area lifted too. I think I would’ve liked to have had 15-30 more minutes to get an even better result, but Lila was very sensible and said she would rather go with half an hour to see how my skin takes the treatment first – after all, it was really stimulating and my face did look blushed and warm to the touch, so she was right. But I thought, if the results look this good after one half an hour, imagine what they would be like after a course!

The next day, the results had improved further as my makeup glided on effortlessly and I looked refreshed and revitalised – even before my coffee! The main picture at the top of he post, is me just having put on some makeup after a shower (hair not done, again.) The results improved over the next couple of days but now I feel I’m almost back to my pre-treatment face. That means, I’d consider this the perfect treatment a day before a big event but for optimal results, depending on your age and aesthetic requirements, a course of 3-6 treatments followed by the odd maintenance one would be enough to keep you glowing non-stop!

At Aurora Spa Chiswick, the prices for Endospheres Body Contouring start at £85 for 45 minute legs and glutes, £110 for 60 minute legs, glutes and arms (bingo wings) or £110 for 60 minutes legs, glutes and tummy/waist and £150 for a 90 minute full body treatment. For the face, a 1 hour 15 minutes treatment costs £100. You can contact Aurora Spa Chiswick on info@auroraspa-chiswick.com or call 020 8994 4900. If you decide to try a treatment, do let them know you heard about the treatment from Lisa at Glowology!

*My treatment was complimentary with no pressure to write about it at all, but as you know, I want you to be the first to know about the things that make us look and feel fabulous as we age!

The facial treatment interests me. It’s more challenging trying to keep the face youthful as exercise can help the body massively. I’m impressed that the results got better over the following days even with the shorter treatment that you had. I’ve tried a few microcurrent/ultrasound/radio frequency treatments but have never been that impressed with the long-term results. This sounds interesting. Fantastic honest review as always Lisa ❤️❤️

Hi Tracey – I’m sorry I didn’t reply to your comment sooner but my blog had been hacked and things went a bit haywire! Luckily, now normality resumes…fingers crossed! I agree with you re the challenges of keeping the face youthful – we know it’s going to age, that’s life – but if we can have a little help now and then, that’s great. I was very impressed with endospheres as a one-off but you are right, to keep the results and for further improvement, you would need to have regular treatments. Lots of hugs, Lisa xx
